San Juan duty free shop

We are leaving on the Caribbean Princess out of San Juan. Does anybody know if the liquor store in the terminal also sells cigarettes? And if so, are prices lower than in the States?

I don't know if the prices are lower than in the States.....but probably not, since Puerto Rico is the United States.

They are about the same if you are looking at famous brands. My husband smokes and tells me it is a few cents cheaper, so that is all i can tell you.

Puerto Rico is a self governing commonwealth associated with the US since 1952 but it is not the US since it is not annexated as a US state or incorporated territory, most US companies like UPS and others consider PR as international so price and costs are different in PR compared to the US.
