Altun Ha & Lunch with "Beyond Touring"

We booked a private tour of the Altun Ha ruins & lunch with "Beyond Touring."

 

On the good side: Material supplied in advance (by mail) was interesting and informative. Guide, driver and vehicle were ready and waiting for us. The guide was knowledgeable and had interesting photos, etc. to illustrate his points about the excavations. Both the guide and driver patiently answered all our questions about life in Belize. The vehicle was comfortable. We arrived back at the port with plenty of time to do a little shopping and unhurriedly get back on the ship.

 

A few quibbles: The vehicle air conditioning was broken (apparently earlier that day). Seat belts were not available. Lunch was minimally acceptable.

 

Overall, we enjoyed the tour and had a good experience.
