Rum Point - taxi?

We are stopping in Grand Cayman in April and would just like to go to Rum Point Beach and not the other stops that tours offer (we just did Stingray city 2 weeks ago - it was great but don't need to do it again!!). Can we take a taxi there pretty easy and does anyone know how much it will cost? Thanks!

OK.

Yes.

Yes. About US$80 each way

Taxis do not wait at Rum Point looking for fares. Buses do not go that far. You would need to arrange your return transport.

It is much cheaper to rent a car and drive yourself.
