Carnival Pride question

Had a cruise booked for Jan 2011, but just changed it to March 2011. I also moved from deck 6 to deck 8. I'm on the aft - cabin 8270. I realized after I did so - that's under the pool deck. Am I going to be hearing a lot of noise from that deck when I'm trying to nap/sleep/relax???

I hope not...but I would like to know the answer as I cruise out May 9th and am in aft room 8272

I have read complaints about folks hearing Lido deck noise from cabin 8265 and complaints of soot on the balconies in cabins 8272 and 8277.

 

I haven't heard anything about 8270 in particular...hopefully someone who has stayed in that cabin can let you know...

While I cannot tell you anything about deck 8, I can tell you that we were in Cabin 7240 last week and we never heard ANYTHING. They were even doing repairs in the room next to us and we were never bothered by them at all. The cabins are great! Sound should not be a problem.
