This was our first cruise on Carnival, we are in our mid to late forties with no children. We had a good time but I rate the overall experience as average. The staff we dealt with was great the food average. We had a balcony room on deck 7 Aft, the room was much smaller than the room we had on Norwegian Dawn, entrance door to the cabin very narrow. The buffet area on the lido deck very confusing. Only one main dining room, food was good, our waitress at dinner (Haydee) was delightful. Didn't get to see all the shows, the ones we did see were good. Dinner at David's Steak house was well worth it as far as we were concerned, we like the special attention and the service and food was awesome. Our cabin steward Arif was wonderful. A must see is Roger in the Ivory Piano Bar, we had a blast with him. Also, Jimmy and the Parrot Heads played on board and what an awesome time, all very nice guys. Overall Carnival was ok, have been on Royal Caribbean and Norwegian which in our opinion are much better. Condition of ship - Definately could use some improvements
