Riding the Bus

Has anyone ever taken a bus to PB or to Nachi Cocum? Does the bus even stop there? Just curious, as it seems it might be less expensive than a taxi...I've taken buses in Acapulco, and they seemed alright.

Thanks to the taxi union, there are no buses in Cozumel out to the beaches. It's something many would like to change, but many more prevent it.

That's really too bad! That would have been an interesting way to go, I think.

 

Another question then....I was thinking of booking a sunset sail with cozumel sailing with Dan and Karen, but from what I understand, it is quite an expensive taxi ride to go from Nachi Cocom to their Puerto de Abrigo Marina...Would a bus go that way from the pier? Or what would a taxi be for that?

Hmmm... from Nachi Cocom to the Punta Langosta pier downtown, it's $15. From downtown to the Marina is about $4, so $19 all together at most. You can probably negotiate this when you are ready to leave Nachi Cocom.

 

Sorry, no buses that way either.
