Need Thoughts on 8th Floor Boardwalk Balcony Room

Recommended Posts

I am surprising my husband with a cruise on the Oasis for his 40th birthday. We are traveling with our 7 month old son, so we might be "stuck" inside our room at night while he is sleeping. I was going to book an Oceanview Balcony, but I thought the Boardwalk Balcony room would be a great option for us so that we can sit outside at night with a bottle of wine while our son is sleeping & still feel part of the "action".

I booked the last Boardwalk Balcony room available - #8307. I'm hoping we will have a nice view of a little of everything - the Aqua theater, the ocean out the aft & also have some good people watching overlooking the Boardwalk.

Is anyone familiar with this room, or would be able to shed some light on the location and things to expect? Should I be prepared for it to be noisy, or not have a view of the Aqua Theater, etc? I just want to set my expectations so that I'm not too disappointed! I might even bring a white noise machine if I hear that it's really noisy. But - overall, I think (HOPE!) this will be a perfect room for what we are looking for.

Thanks!
