Car Seat for Ground Transportation?

We will be departing NYC in July on the Carribean Princess! Our 9-month-old nephew will be coming on his first cruise with us. Will we need a car seat to transport him on the bus from the airport to the cruise?:confused:

Excellent question! I've never seen any type of car-seat used in public bus transportation... I think that nephew will sit on your lap.

Perhaps other parents of a young family could respond?

On bus transport, nope, no car seats allowed on buses (no seat belts to secure the car seats) ;)

 

So he will be a lap child for that ride. :)

 

Enjoy your cruise! We sailed out of NYC last June. It's a great city to cruise from! :D

Thank you for the information. There are 15 of us traveling with my nephew so there will be plenty of willing people to hold him. Princess told us "no car seat", but it's better to hear it first hand!
