champagne lover Posted February 23, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2010 Yes you will. We booked excursions for our recent cruise on BOS, we were charged to our credit card within a few days. When we decided to cancel one of them a few weeks later it was easy to do online but the refund took about 4 weeks to come through. We then cancelled another one once onboard and the refund was put onto our onboard account.
madforcruising Posted February 23, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2010 If I book an excursion now through Royal Caribbean and decide to cancel it can I get a refund? Yes you can get a refund, however there are a couple of things to know. If you cancel before boarding you will get refunded to your credit card which you used for booking the excursion. There is a dealine for cancelling online, It used to be ten day prior embarkation but I think it has been shortened to 3 or 4 days, check the T&C´s for the exact deadline. Once the deadline is met you have to wait until you are onboard to cancel. Cancellations onboard will be refunded as OBC, they won´t go back to your credit card. Unused OBC from cancelled shore excursions will be credited back at the end of the cruise. Onboard there is another dealine for cancellations. It´s usually 24-48 hours, but can vary. It will be posted in the cruise compass.
