Taxi Lindos to Rhodes

Arriving in Rhodes on cruise ship. Want to take taxi to Lindos. Worried about catching a taxi back from Lindos. Are there plenty of taxis to catch going Lindos back to Rhodes? Where do I catch them?

Yes, they are numerous. Just walk up from Lindos to the highway, and there is a parking lot where the tour buses park. The public buses and taxis also congregate there. Also a nice shopping area across the highway, where you can buy local products for much less than at Rhodes.

We actually took the public bus to Lindos and had no problems! It was very cheap and was very reliable! It was a very postive experience.

One of our party said she heard bad things regarding bus to Lindos. don't really know what, but I have only heard good things. Just a little worried about time, we are in port for a limited time, and it would only leave 1 1/2 to see rhodes if we do bus.

There are a lot of taxis waiting. The taxis that take the tourists from the town of Rhodes to Lindos, usually wait at the main road near the bus station to take a fare back.

DIY- bus or taxi ??and cost of each for a trip to Lindos from cruise port. We are in port for 11 hrs so have Time for both Lindos and Old Town. maureen
