Valor Cruise Director??

I'm wondering how do I find out who our cruise director will be? My group is sailing on the Carnival Valor on April 10th out of Miami. I hope it is John Heald!!!

Also...any suggestions on what hotel to stay at the night before we cruise? My travel agent is saying "The Hilton"
