rough seas 2/14/10

I was just wondering if anyone was on the 2-14-10 EOS. How were the seas leaving and coming back to bayonne?:)

very smooth sailing on the way down and all through the cruise with the exception of the last day when we were coming back up the coast, although they did a great job sailing through the storm.

Tell them to get stuffed, the Caribbean in Feb is the perfect break from cold!

 

Honestly, on the 2/5 sailing, at one point we went through 122 mile per hour winds, and had no problem. I think the tv channel described the seas as moderate, 3 meter waves. Really, not a problem at all - nothing spilled or tipped over, nothing fell off tables and nobody fell out of bed =)

 

I would say that if you were on board, and nobody told you that it was a cat 2 hurricane force wind, and that the waves were 3 meters you might think it was a bit rough but not a big deal at all.
