iowagirl411 Posted March 3, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted March 3, 2010 Yes, yes and yes. Thanks! I thought I was the only one. It seems I've read more posts about how to remove the stuff inside rather than how to get it replenished!

Rockportgirl Posted March 3, 2010 #6 Share Posted March 3, 2010 This is the first time I've actually seen this question, and it's a good one. I've never used the mini-bar and I'm really not sure why- don't know if I ever even looked at the prices. I think I just assumed they would be exorbitant like in some hotels, but now I'm wondering.
salty dingo Posted March 3, 2010 #7 Share Posted March 3, 2010 The prices are not cheap, but if you want something in the middle of the night, I guess it's handy.

Duncarob Posted March 3, 2010 #9 Share Posted March 3, 2010 I think the prices are pretty reasonable. $1.50 for a soda if memory serves correctly.

maxamuus Posted March 3, 2010 #12 Share Posted March 3, 2010 Word of warning - Last cruise on Carnival we never noticed that the BIG bottle of bottled water wasnt in the cabin when we boarded. Last night we get the charge for it for 5 bucks. Seemed like a scam cause no way i was going to fight the line on the last night to dispute 5 bucks. Long story short make mental note to check if the bottle is there when you board or else you will be billed for it when you didnt even use it. onthehighseas606 Posted March 3, 2010 #14 Share Posted March 3, 2010 No way--over priced, and I would have stood in line disputing the $5.00. I got to thinking, that when we left the ship, we left the door open to our cabin. Hmmm, anyone could have gone inside and cleaned out the frig! peaece13 Posted March 3, 2010 #15 Share Posted March 3, 2010 My husband used it a couple of times to get a soda...but I was aggravated by that because we both had the soda card. I refused to get any soda's out of there since I had that card. He would use it when we ordered late night room service. Before he realized it was there he ordered a soda with our room service food and had to sign the receipt when they came to the door. I told him it would just be easier to get it out of the fridge than order it with our room service food. But like I said I refused to use it since we had already paid for the soda card. twinmommy08 Posted March 4, 2010 #16 Share Posted March 4, 2010 I will use it just for the pure fact that I don't have to wait for something that I may want or need.
