7 mile Beach after tour without missing ship?

We have booked a stingray sailing in two weeks. Our tour is 9-12:30 GC time. However it is right after time change so it will be 10-1:30 ship time. We have the option of being dropped off at the 7 mile beach after the excursion and would like to see it. However, the ship leaves at 4 and we have to be back to dock by 3. Is it worth it to be dropped off at the beach for just an hour? How long should we leave to make it back to the dock?

ride back from Sea Grape is about 10 mins or so. You do need to wait until the taxi fills, so unless you have a large group, take that into consideration. It is a beautiful beach and you could spend some time there and enjoy without a problem. Ask to be dropped there instead of the pier.
