Is Bermuda Expensive?

I see the dolphin excursion on the cruise to bermuda is like $209 where I've paid anywhere from $90 - $100 in the past. Just wondering if Bermuda is all around expensive. if they still have duty free shopping as well. Thank you

Bermuda is not really expensive, some restaurants are a bit pricey... in Hamilton there is a chicken place on Queen Street about a block up and 1/2 from Front Street that we've eaten at a few times, rather inexpensive,... DO NOT eat at the KFC which is a few doors down... (the only "fast food" place on the island) we ate there the first time we went to Bermuda and it was terrible, and they don't serve mashed potatoes...

The shopping is still duty free...

I will say yes Bermuda is expensive. Eating in their restaurants can set you back quite a bit just for lunch. We like to eat on the ships and spend the money in the stores while there. When NCL used to do the dine ashore program we took advantage and had lunch in St.George. If we paid straight out it easily could have run $100.00 just for lunch.

We don't eat at fast food restaurants while on vacation ,especially cruising. Foods too good.

Bermuda is beautiful - it's our favorite Island.
