Loved sunset photos and St.Kitts from boat. Did you ever notice though- you are all set to take the perfect sunset picture and by the time it is setting there are clouds? My favorite was your shot of St.Kitts from ship-nice colors and so inviting and serene.
Last cruise fortunate enough to get one day of full sun going down without clouds woohoo.
I Am Loving Those Sunset Pictures!!
thanks, i just couldnt figure out which one was the best, so i posted about half of them.
Hi Mike loving your review! DW and I have been talking about what to do next but we don't have anything concrete yet. The only thing we've agreed on so far is the port. We want to take one either from Ft. Lauderdale or Miami and it will be in 2011, unless you guys plan anything we might just join you. Been writing to Joan via e-mail and she tells me they're planning something but nothing sure yet. I told her to let me know to see if DW and I join in. Tell Rhonda we said hi and let me know if youre planning anything for the near future.
hey hugo,
i know our next cruise will be 2012, and it will be the cruise to aruba that leaves out of FLL. rhonda wants to take me to hawaii next year for our vacation becauuse i hanevt been there.
Excellent review! I started reading before bed last night and finished up this morning. Looking forward to your experience in St. Maarten. We did a S.Caribbean for our honeymoon almost 10 years ago and loved it, but we were worn out. We were talking about doing it again this fall for our anniversary and your review has just about sealed the deal. We are considering doing a B2B so we can enjoy the ship and shows and not be so exhausted. Would this be a good option in your opinion???
i would love to do a b2b, but i think i would probably do the second leg on a different ship with different ports. i think i could revisit every island again, but i like sea days, and actually just being out at sea. and thank you.

That was a great review. I am going on this exact cruise on April 18th and found it hard to find a complete review of the Victory. We are staying in San Juan for two days prior will you please email the taxi driver's number to me? audreylee78@yahoo.com. Also, I was planning on going to Magen's Beach in St. Thomas, but you said that it was not good for snorkeling? Why is that is it just rough water? Thanks for all the info, I took notes!!!

thanks. there is no snorkeling because it's just a sandy bottom all around the bay.

next i'll post the underwater pics that i got. the first couple were from barbados, and trying to swim out to the reef. but it was just too rough. then in st lucia my camera lens kept getting fogged, so i have no pics from there. finally in st. kitts i got some pics with an underwater vivitar i got from target a couple years ago that is my backup because the olympus was giving me trouble. the pics arent the greatest, but at least you can see the terrain at cockleshell beach in st. kitts.

swimming out to the reef at rockley beach in barbados

these didnt come out good because i had to dive down a bit and try to get the camera under a rock. these were the first lobsters i had seen, so i was pretty happy, though they were kinda creepy looking.
thanks mark.:)
no problem, mike... lovin' it...

i'd love to do the victory itinerary one day...

and... lobster are ALWAYS creepy.. though very palatable and far less creepy, when served properly ;)

but on the face....

even in situations where they're in effective captivity...

they're still creepy critter, more closely related to spiders than crab, that we all love to eat

mmmhmmmm. lobsters are yummy.... ;)

keep goin dude, i remember saying the same during your previous review. you're doing it right - no worries.
