Shuttle to Christiansted

Anyone used the $12 round trip shuttle from Fredriksted to Christiansted lately? Where in Christiansted do you get dropped off? We are looking to use this shuttle to go to Christiansted to meet our Buck Island tour. Is this a good plan or would a taxi be better/more reliable? Thanks for your help!

I used this shuttle in January....Good service, good price, frequent 'as needed' departures from Christiansted back to ship...Drop off point is short walk to waterfront

We are planning to do the Buck Island tour and are meeting the captain in Christiansted. How often do the 12.00 shuttle buses run?
