Western Med on Legend in April

Thinking of doing Lisbon to Montecarlo on Legend on 7 April or Brcelona to Monte Carlo on 24 April.

We would be first timers on Seabourn. Have previously travelled on Crystal Serenity.

Has anyone had any experience of weather and sea conditions at this time of year (is it likely to be rough?) and any advice on which of the 2 cruises to choose.

Very grateful for any advice.

Hello Cruisebunny,

Either choice should be fine. The Lisbon to Monte Carlo cruise actually goes up the Guadalquivir river to Seville, which is a very unusual cruise itinerary. I have sailed that in a small ship and it's very interesting. Besides, it's totally landlocked so no waves, etc. Portimao is the port for the Algarve coast of Portugal. If you look at the itinerary, you really only have one day at sea and that is toward the end--you should have your "sea legs" well by then no matter what the weather. I have sailed the Med in April and loved it--everything in bloom.
