I went a couple years ago on Explorer OTS. me, my husband and 2 teenage girls. First it is about a 30 minute bus ride to the horse grounds.

My horse was tired and overworked, she didnt want to run or even walk fast. The tour guy said hit her with the reins, she started bucking. What a trip. My Husband had "lightening" His horse had to be first and fast. My one daughter had a biting horse, that had to be up front or she would bite the horse in front of her. They take you through trails and you see some mayan statues. They tell the stories. Then you go back and have a soda. We waited like 1/2 hour for the bus to return to take us back to the pier. We had plenty of time to clean up and go into town for shopping and a bite to eat. Major Saddle soar.- Thighs hurt for 2 days.

We had fun- The bus guide was funny.

We made it fun by being together, seeing sites...
