I going 4/17 and am hoping they have something.

There are no crusie line organized tournaments on any line that I am aware of. There have been passenger organized events that have been posted on these board from time to time.

It is my understanding that these are NOT cruise line or casino operator tournaments but are being run by independant operators paying a fee to do so.

You may be right about who is running what. I was just letting the OP know that there are Poker tournaments on some cruises. I may be wrong but I get the impression that he would like to play in a Texas Holdem Poker tournament know matter who runs it. :)
