Carnival is experiencing technical difficulties on their phone system (as of 11pm CST). Did get through once so far (2x just got message to call back) but got disconnected after asking my question.

 

Oh yes, being able to call Carnival to discuss my booking is soooo much better than having it with a TA. :p

I noticed these problems Sunday afternoon. My DS and I were trying to book the dream for this fall. After several hours of trying, we gave up. We were finally able to get through late Monday afternoon.

HMMM,,,I'd guess it ain't better, if you can't get through to your PVP? I can always get through to my TA. ;)

Just called my PVP to check some prices, he answered on the second ring, no problem with the connection. Loud and clear and did not get disconected.

True, but then your TA has to get through to them. I think dealing with Carnival directly is better, in my opinion. :)
