Grand Cayman Scuba-Doo/Underwater Ride Scooters?

Hi has anyone every seen scuba doo or underwater scooters that you ride for rent in Grand Cayman?? I see it in Cozumel for my cruise next week but I can not seem to find anything online about renting them in grand cayman. Are they called something else...maybe im looking for the wrong thing! Help!

Try searching for "Power Snorkel". You do not ride these but hold them out in front of you and it has a fan to propel the water.

thanks, you have to scuba with that though, which we have little actually..zero experience with scuba diving!

The power snorkle excursion we did in Cozumel was snorkleing and not Scuba Diving. Certification was not needed and not necessary. My husband used the apparatus to dive but he was the only one. Everyone else, me included, stayed on the surface.

Hi Kelly, what a pity we have just joined cruise critic. We are the manufacturer of Scuba-doo underwater motor scooters and we are based in Australia on the great barrier reef. To date there are no scubadoo's in Grand Cayman as you are probably aware by now. I am sorry I couldn't have advised you earlier on that. DiveTech offers the "West Bay Express" - a guided scuba dive using underwater scooters. Scuba certification is required.

We did something like this in St Thomas. It was called BOB. I don't know if they have something similar in Cayman Islands.
