Car Rental

We are very excited about going on our 1st cruise (Carnival Victory). We are leaving out of the Port of Miami. Since we are going to be in Florida for 2 days prior to our cruise leaving, we will be renting a car. Can anyone suggest a car rental company that is located very close to the port of miami. We plan on going to Ft Meyers and then drive back the morning of our cruise , so when it comes time to return the car we want a place really close to the port.

Hi there

Hertz is the closest within a couple of blocks and they do offer a free shuttle and will drop you off right at the door.

Also the other major rental car companies offer a free shuttle from their airport locations.

 

We flew into Orlando and rented from hertz returned the car at the port ofMiami loaction. after our cruise we used Alamo, which picks you up at the terminal every 10 minutes or so. Drives you to thier airport location to pick up a rental car and you are on your way..
