marelind Posted March 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2010 DH is on oxygen and we have requested a wheelchair at the port, however, we know that that can be iffy. In case he needs to walk, does anyone know if there are ramps, elevators, or escalators from the cruise terminal onto the ship? Does anyone know distances from street to terminal to ship? Thanks for any information you can share.
ItsAllAboutTheSass Posted March 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2010 There is an escalator that will take you from check-in upstairs. There will be some walking involved if you don't get a wheelchair, but you will not have any stairs to contend with.
PA Cruisers2 Posted March 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2010 We cruised in January and once you get into the NCL terminal there are many people who want to help you. I saw wheelchairs and there are elevators. Just ask and the NCL staff will help you. We got there early and it was not crowded at all. We got dropped off in front of the terminal. The "luggage people" take your bags and then it is a short walk to the terminal. You could probably ask if they could get you a wheel chair, but that is a short walk. Hope this helps.
