Temperature Records

A few years ago, someone posted a most useful link where you could enter a date and a particular location and it would show what the temperature was there the previous year? If anyone still remembers this, I would really appreciate having that tool again.l

Wunderground does that here: http://www.wunderground.com/history/

 

Not only the previous year but any year they have.

Another site I find easier to use (or maybe I just remember how to get to historical data better) is My Forecast.

 

This historical data is under Almanac. If you click on Almanac on the left hand column it will expand and you'll see "historical climate."

I like the Trip Planner section of Weather Underground. You can enter a location and a date or range of calendar dates. It gives you pertinent temperature and other data on those dates for the last 15 years. (See: http://www.wunderground.com/tripplanner/index.asp.) It works for both US and non US cities. Hope this helps.
