Kahului- taxis avail early morning?

We will be on the Spirit next month with an overnight in Maui. We will have a rental car and plan to keep it overnight since we will be doing a scuba excursion in Kihei at 7am. I know parking around the port is limited so we may end up having to park back at the rental company or the airport or something like that.

 

Will taxis be available around 5:30am or is that too early to call for one? I'm trying to figure out how I'm getting back to our car in the morning if we can't park close to the ship.
