kicker Posted March 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2010 First of all, there are no silly questions, only silly people asking questions (just kidding) DH: Dear Husband DW: Dear Wife And so forth. I didn't know either when I started reading these boards - thought the "D" might stand for dead. But no, its only "Dear", and what I've also found helpful, being a computer neophyte, is googling IM abbreviations whenever I don't get something.
