ronniev Posted March 14, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2010 Hi, what's the best way to travel from Treviso Airport to the cruise terminal in Venice? Our plane will land in Treviso in the morning at 08.10 o'clock on March 20th. The MSC Magnifica leaves at 17.00 hours. Where can we leave our luggage? So we can explore Venice a little bit ;-) Greets, Ron
euro cruiser Posted March 14, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2010 "Best" means different things to different people. A taxi is probably the easiest, but also more expensive. The most convenient public transit option, in my opinion, is the ATVO bus from Treviso to Piazzale Roma. One way fare is Euro 5; round trip is Euro 9. The timetable can be found here: http://www.atvo.it/index.php?lang=en&area=23&menuid=36 Airport information, including ground transportation, can be found here: http://www.trevisoairport.it/page/tsf/servizi/trasporti/mezzipubblici/treni?m=4140211 There is a left luggage (deposito bagagli) office at Piazzale Roma, where the bus from the airport will drop you off. It's open from 6 AM until 9 PM, and the fee is Euro 4 for each piece of luggage. The website for this office is here: http://www.trasbagagli.it/en/index.shtml?services

Christhine Posted June 7, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 7, 2010 I used the company lowcostaxi www.lowcostaxi.net They arrived with a beautiful Mercedes van it took 30 minutes to the left luggage deposit at the Cruise Port and found them in cabin so I had plenty of time to see Venice
