Carnival Valor MDR seating

we are scheduled for the late dining on the Valor in a few weeks, is the dinner seating in the MDR "open seating" or is it "assigned seating"??

One of the MDR is dedicated to "Open Seating"

 

Since you selected a time you will be in the MDR that accomadates those that have selected the time they wish to eat..so you will not be waiting with a mish mosh of people to get your seat...Once the MDR opens you are good to go

Now that I am not sure of as it was just DW and me. I'm sure someone will be along soon to answer that. Maybe a call to Carnival to 'associate' the reservations or a visit to the Maitre'D when you board?

I think if you call Carnival and have your booking numbers associated in their computers,,you will get seated together. Maybe not a table for 4, but you'll be together.

Any idea what is the typical number of guests per table in the MDR on the Valor?? Am ordering a b-day cake and want it to serve all at the table..

Unless they changed the date, open seating is not available on the Valor until 5/2/10.

The tables in the MDR range from 2 to 10.

 

If you happen to get a lovely Lithuanian lady named Natalia, tell her Matt and Julie say hi. She's fabulous and you'll probably have the best service around!!
