Century cruising 3.25.10 transportion help

Heading off next week on our anniversary cruise! Super excited. We are flying into fort lauderdale thurs am. Can anyone recommend how we get to the miami seaport? I've heard a random taxi could get pricey?! Thanks for any help!

When we needed to get to Miami from FLL airport we went outside the airport from baggage claim. There was a guy there who called a limo for you...and it was cheaper than a regular taxi. Can't remember the name of the company though...maybe some other poster will have used them more recently and remember it. You did not need a reservation; you just walked up and they took you to Miami. We were going to the Intercontinental for a pre-cruise night....it worked great.

We are on the same sailing and we are also using SAS. We fly into Ft Lauderdale on Wednesday night.

If you want to join our Roll Call, we have one going for the March 25th sailing.

We're getting a town car through Holland Limo. It's $75.00 for 4 of us including the tip. They also have limos but they are more expensive.

I would concur on SAS. Used them last year; very efficient, friendly service at a reasonable price. Owner Steve is excellent as was the van driver,
