AlabamaFootball Posted March 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2010 Seemed too good to pass up. Natural light, fresh air for the price of an inside.
Winterstale Posted March 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2010 Would love to hear some feedback on these as well - thinking of one on the Spirit.
AlabamaFootball Posted March 16, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted March 16, 2010 I've booked one on the Legend on May 23rd. I saw some advice on booking one that's "between" the lifeboats for optimal views. That's what I did. I will definately post pics when I return. pcb412 Posted March 16, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2010 I'm booked in one of those on the Miracle. Hope it's nice. Seems like a good way to soften the blow of not wanting to spend a fortune for a balcony.
DaDivaMom Posted March 16, 2010 #5 Share Posted March 16, 2010 We had one on the Legend and loved it. There is no balcony and depending on the location your view will be all water straight down or a bit of ocean view straight out. We had two and really enjoyed them. oncruisecontrol Posted March 16, 2010 #6 Share Posted March 16, 2010 We had one back in 2008 (before it was considered an "inside" cabin). We loved it. It was actually our first outside cabin. As far as the view, we really could only see the lifeboats, a bit of the surface of the water, enough of the sky to see whether it was sunny, raining, etc, and the deck below. Having said that, "a nice view" was unimportant to us as we can get that form the pool deck. The benefit we garnered from this cabin was the extra space (as opposed to an inside cabin). boaterette Posted March 16, 2010 #7 Share Posted March 16, 2010 I stayed in one on the Pride and loved it. Not as much as a regular balcony but a lot better than an ocean view. I would prop the door open with the bed and have fresh air. I would book them again.

smurf1635 Posted March 16, 2010 #10 Share Posted March 16, 2010 Just came off the Miracle last Friday and had that type of room, 4109. It had so much space! On deck 4, there were no true "inside" rooms, at least not by us, they were all outside rooms. Being an outside with no room across the hall, the cabin was very roomy. We didn't have a view, unless you want to call a life boat a view. If you squat down, you can get a peak at deck 3. I would book this cabin again. The light and air are wonderful perks for less than a balcony.
urbanhawk Posted March 16, 2010 #11 Share Posted March 16, 2010 I stayed in one this past Dec. on the Miracle-it was great; not much of a view, but got the sunlight, and the fresh air; I was able to prop the door open with the foot stool; there is a railing about waist high outside the door, and there's a narrow catwalk for the crew to walk on-(access to the life boats?).....I think the room was still the standard 185 sq. feet, but well worth it for an "inside" cabin......Happy cruising!

Talus731 Posted March 16, 2010 #17 Share Posted March 16, 2010 Had one on the Legend in 2007 and loved it, and got it again for our upcoming b2b in October, same room number, different ship, the Spirit!!
LHP Posted March 16, 2010 #18 Share Posted March 16, 2010 We always book cabin 4194 on the Spirit class ships. It has a little more of a view "between" the lifeboats....so it is considered a "partially" obstructed. Here are a couple of pictures of this cabin....(not our pictures) http://travel.webshots.com/photo/1344241901070127580KmeWOQ
