the La Concha Renaissance San Juan Resort? If you have, can you please tell me how far it is from the pier and Old San Juan? Also, was it nice?

I stayed there last year before a cruise and am also staying there again this year before the cruise. It is a very pretty hotel and the pools and beach are great. It was a 20 min drive (maybe less??) to the pier in OSJ. The taxi fares are regulated, which is nice, so I think it was around 20 dollars or so total for my daughter and I and our bags. At night, the lobby turns into a club scene of sorts, with lots of very "chic" ;) haha people and music. I had read reviews about the music being so loud that guests found it hard to sleep, but I really didnt notice it at all. We loved La Concha and I think you will be happy with it too.
