Upgraded!

Wow, I am so excited, I checked our cabin assignment for our April 15 cruise, and we've been upgraded from a category 11 inside to a category 9 Deluxe Oceanview. I'm loving Disney already - first kids sail free, and now an unsolicited upgrade. Has anyone stayed in cabin 2042? Deck 2 seems pretty low but at least it will be easy to get to the restaurants!

Never stayed in that room but I have been on deck 2 ocean view and really liked it. There is alot less motion lower in the ship too.

My mom stayed in that stateroom back in August and we were a couple of staterooms down. We were upgraded too, from a 12gty to a 9. We loved the oceanview! The location is great...close to stairs/elevators...close to Parrot Cay and Animators Palate...elevator ride up to deck 11...close to disembarking at ports...it's just a great location! Now...there is some noise with the thrusters. It doesn't bother us...however...some people really make a big deal out of it. You will really only hear the thrusters when pulling into and out of ports...and we got to hear them loud and clear when we were searching for a Carnival passenger who went overboard...(different story.) :D
