della0813 Posted March 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2010 i was wondering if anyone know how we can find out if the verandas in our rooms on the dream have solid walls or clear walls thanks della
BigDaddyRog Posted March 20, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2010 Categories 6A & 6B have the solid wall verandas, and are located at the very rear of the ship. All other categories have plexiglass covered railings that can be seen through while seated.

karenjoetory Posted April 4, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 4, 2010 BigDaddyRog - THANK YOU for your response! I had booked 6B and had no idea there would be a solid wall on the bottom part of the veranda! This is my first veranda I've ever booked (out of probably 15+ cruises) and this was a cruise I really was planning on using that space (I've been on 3 other Disney cruises, so my plan is to get food, read a book, daydream while sitting on the veranda - if it rains I'll have a poncho and I'll still sit out there!) We've only ever had inside cabins, except for 1 time we had a porthole which I thought was not worth the extra $. I've changed to category 5D for $150 more and I feel so much better spending that little extra $ knowing what I know now!!
Friscorays Posted April 4, 2010 #5 Share Posted April 4, 2010 I would not let the solid wall scare you away from these cabins. Aft balcony's are highly coveted: many people think they offer the best scenery on the ship!
