We are cruising out of NYC on the Caribbean Princess May09-What do you think weather will be like-My DH thinks it will be cold and take two days to get to warmer weather-I disagree-I think leaving out of NYC may be a little chilly-but the next day on Monday should be fine-Who is right-

Temperature for the first 3 days after sailing from new york:

 

May 13 2007 was 68F, Wind Force 3, overcast, next day 70F, Force 7 overcast, next day 77F, Force 6 Overcast

May 21st sailing was 68F, Force 4, scattered clouds, 74F, Force 7, Scattered clouds, 79F, Force 4, mostly cloudy

Typically our May weather can be lovely. I would think probably the nicest time of the year. Not to hot, not to cold. Just right!!

I mean not TOO hot, not TOO cold. My english major son wouldve killed me!!!

We left out of Bayonne 3 years ago in May and it was little chilly. You needed a lite jacket out on deck, but by the 2nd full day it was warm probably like high 60's. by the 3rd day bathing suit and shorts were in order.

We cruised last year on May 8th out of New York, the next day we were by the pool, it was nice & warm (70 degrees); after that, beautiful & warm.

 

We will be on the same cruise!
