N005 - itinerary changes

Anyone do N005/5A ?

 

No problems at all with the ship, everything on board Ventura was great - food very good,really enjoyed Whites and East. Thought the entertainment was better first week than 2nd.

 

My complaint is the changes to the itinerary that wrecked some of our tours and plans away from P&O. It was bad enough changing all the ports around just before we went which meant that we had to inform our 3rd party excursion/car hire companies. But it had all changed again before we got on board and we had to try to do it all again once on board. Also they changed some of the port times and excursion times around as well. We lost 2 of our P&O tours as well (plus the Bequia trip which we lost before we left home) as well which we probably due to them not being able to rearrange them on the new dates, although they pleaded mechanical problems.

 

Some of our ports had 3 different dates between Feb 10th and when we departed on Feb 26th - thought this was pretty poor organisation. Never happened to us before after 20 cruises. Did not like P&O's arrogance and lack of help - may not so next years Azura now.
