Are Cruise Critic Cruises worth it? Pros and Cons? Anyone out there been a group leader? Would you do it again?

Not a group leader but been on 3 and going on 4th in a month. They are great. You can do as much or as little as you want. I like the pricing is why I go with them.

Personally I don't do group cruises.

 

I could care less to offer /donate my money so the group leader and a few others cruise for FREE !:mad:

 

When your reading CC check out the list of cruises that the ,

"Group leaders " have been on . Wonder why that is ? There cruising on your dollar :D.

We did it once but since we booked with a pvp the group leader was not all that thrilled with us booking that way.

 

Had a very nice cruise and overall a very good group.

They are a ton of fun and yes, I would and am doing it again.

It's true that the group leader gets up to two berths, typically at an inside rate, refunded a few months after the cruise but I can tell you that I've spent more than that on gifts, name tags and whatnot to make the cruise more fun for those sailing with us.

They're a great deal of work but I've met some fabulous folks... made life long friends and memories that will last forever.
