Self Disembarkment - Sapphire

Hi everyone!

Thought I would try the MR thread for this question. We have a post cruise day tour leaving at 10:30 am from our LAX hotel. Sapphire arrives back at San Pedro at 7 am. What would be a reasonable time for us to self disembark so we can be at the lax hotel by 10 for this tour?

Thanks!

Is this a Princess sponsored tour or an independent. Maybe if it's an independent, you can find out if you can get picked up from a San Pedro location instead (and if they will allow your luggage onboard). If it's a Princess sponsored one, they should be picking you up from the ship.

It's a private tour and we need to get to the hotel for p/u. No p/u from dock. Hopefully the Travel Gods will be on our side and everything will run smoothly:) Thanks!

In January, if I recall correctly, they started disembarking the self-assist passengers at 7:45 or so. If you are a US citizen, you won't have to report to immigration, just haul your bags through the claim area, turn in your customs form to somebody at the exit and you're on your way, so it's pretty quick once you get started.

That sounds great! Thank you!
