Carnival Destiny? any reviews?

My husband and i like the itinerary for the Carnival Destiny, but we've read some pretty awful reviews. I know it was just dry docked, but i'm still skeptical.

 

Has anyone been recently?

There are a handful of recent reviews if you do a search. They have all been positive. We're going in four days!!!

We went last November and had a great time!! It was the perfect weekend getaway. We had no complaints.

Just off the Destiny. Loved the itinerary but the boat is showing it's age a little. Didn't effect our cruise though. Main engines were running fine, but one of the bow thrusters had been worked on in Miami prior to leaving. The ship stopped twice to "test and calibrate" it during our cruise. Never really effected our port visits though. Will be posting a thorough review in the next couple of days.
