Valor cat 8b rooms

I'm looking at changing my guarantee balcony room to room 7434 or 7439. The rooms look bigger and the balcony looks bigger. Any comments. My agent said it would be $100.00 more. Also...whaen Iwas on the Triumph last year the rooms aft on cat. 8a were great! This room just looks differantt

The Cat B is the same as the Cat 8A's as well as all the other Cat 8 balcony cabins the only difference is the location a higher deck. And it shouldn't be that much more to go up a cat per person. If you haven't booked yet ask about the carnival special two free cat upgrades within the cat you book I seen this on the BestPriceCruises website. We got and 8B because they were located two above casino didn't want to take any chances of hearing the noise that folks have said was bad on te upper deck over the casino. Because the only Cat 8a's available were in that general vicinityand I think it came up to maybe 15$ more per person in te pricing to go up one deck.

Agreed..... Deck cabins 8A or any cabins right above discos, casinos, theatres run the risk of noise from those areas vibrating into the cabins above. Better to have a one deck buffer between those "common areas" and your stateroom if you are a light sleeper. Although this is no guarantee the neighbor will be quiet.
