cave tubing for a 10yr old ??

I don't think 10 is to young, I saw some 6 year old kids. The water is very shallow, she will be fine.

I think if she can swim ok she will be fine, just make sure she gets a life vest that fits. People keep thinking the water is shallow....it is in SOME places it is but there are also places that hit about 50' deep. Depending on when you go the water could be moving VERY slow or it could be moving pretty good in some areas. When we went in October the water was pretty high. The first water crossing you had to walk across the water was waist high and we had to use a rope to help us walk across.

We did it in November with my 11 year old daughter. She's a good swimmer, but didn't really need to be. You're on the tube 90% of the time. if not, the water's not over your head.

Just returned from Belize. Did both cave tubing and ziplining with my 7 year old. We were in a group of 6 for each activity and felt it was very safe. Some of the larger groups looked a little more out of control. He had a blast.
