ashwhita Posted April 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2010 Just wondering if you are putting cash down for your S&S what the exact amount you're able to put is.......It says the recommended amount is $250 but they do not mention if you are able to put less than that. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks :)

Thanks :) I have had clients thathave put as little as $100.00 p/p... just know that when the bucket is empty, you will be unable to continue to charge on your S & S until you replenish the bucket and/or will get called to the hotel desk to add funds to the bucket ! salty dingo Posted April 3, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2010 Well, you need to put down at least the amount of the tips, or $10 per person per day. That will be deducted from your balance. Then, add in what you expect to spend. You can always add more as the cruise goes on. If you truly do not intend to spend any money you can probably put down only the amount of the tips, and just be careful not to charge anything to the card. Not really... if a passenger boarded and opted to remove the auto tips (not trying to start an argument on that topic for sure !), and pay the servers personally, than that minimum would not be necessary to put "up front". Just sayin'
