billet Posted April 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2010 You have a double depth balcony which is half covered. Perfect for getting sun or hiding from the rain. You might like to explore this site for pics of the balconies http://mysite.verizon.net/res76zxu/princessbalconies/id6.html

We are booked into C102 sailing on 17 April. I have a medical condition and have to drag oxygen around. My TA says the ship is full and can't/won't find another cabin. Hope we aren't going to regret it!:D

I have a medical condition and have to drag oxygen around. My TA says the ship is full and can't/won't find another cabin. Hopewe aren't going to regret it!:D That is a peaceful cabin, abutting the officers' watchkeeper cabins. It is a bit of a walk to the elevator if you are dragging oxygen with you, but luckily there is no rush to get anywhere :) It is far forward which is fine although on rough days you will feel the ship pitch more than a cabin further aft. I do not have a picture of C102 balcony but to give you a aeriel view of the double balconies (from the bridge wing) and their relative depth you can see them at the bottom of this picture for the Star. There are 2 people taking photos from their balconies. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4047/4500637031_ba5b7dd9f1_b.jpg Ah I found a picture http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4014/4500689349_f2489f4aa5_b.jpg It is the first cabin on the same deck as where the bridge wing support ends. Thank you Billet! It is kind of you to go through the trouble of locating the pictures! As you say, there is no hurry to get anywhere, and I can use the exercise! I doubt they will run out of food before I can stagger to the dining room!:D
