Glory Pool

Will the pool be open on the we embark before we leave Miami? I am wondering if we should be prepared with swimsuits when we board.

I'm pretty sure that the nets were over it when we got on.

Yep, the nets are usually over the pool, but there WILL be lots of folks sunbathing around the "netted" pool anyway. Take your suit in the carry-on and enjoy ALL of your cruise.

Just got off the Glory and the nets were on the pool as we arrived. But, as was suggested, many people put on their swimsuits anyway. I do think the hot tubs were opened!!!

The nets were not over the main pool and hot tubs. People were swimming. I'm sure they were cleared in time for the safety drill, but I was surprised to find them open.

I have seen pools covered and some open. Who knows who makes the decision and why they make it.

I think its pathetic that the pools are ever closed. Who in their right mind makes people sweat their butts off when its 85 freakin degrees out ?? I mean if you board early you cant go for a swim ?? Ridiculous !

 

There are definitely things about Carnival that make you say ***** !! ??

 

RCCL's/Princess pools are always open on embarkation day.
