The information from the Princess Cruise staff recommended a tip of $1.00 pp for the guide at Dunn's River Falls. We actually tipped $2.00 pp and the guide seemed satisfied with that. (I had read that the guides will harrass you if you don't give them what they think is enough money, but our guide just happily took all the tips he was offered.)

You are lucky. We gave $10 to each of our two tour guides. They they proceeded to try to get us for more money to give to the others who helped us along the way. Perhaps the strategy of giving a couple bucks works better because once they know you have money the try to take it all ;).

The guides that take you up Dunn's River Falls are separate from any ship's guides or private guides, so you will need to tip them whether you take a ship tour or a private tour.

We didn't take any ship tours on our cruise, so I don't know what the policy is for tipping those guides.
