Sun, Sand, and SPIRITS?

Hey all...never been to Grand Cayman and looking to do a few things.

We are probably going to sign up for a tour at/for Stingray City and then on the way back get dropped off at Seven Mile Beach. My question is, as the name of this thread implies,

Where can a bunch of 20-somethings go and enjoy the sun, sand and spirits on the cheap at or near the pier/seven mile beach?

Before many of you shake your head or roll your eyes, we don't plan on getting as drunk as a 'frat-boy.' Just looking for someplace to enjoy without breaking the bank.

Any thoughts / suggestions would be awesome. Thanks!

Save up your $, because there is no real inexpensive way to enjoy adult beverages on GC. If $ is that big a concern, head to a liquor store and buy some beverages and enjoy them on a section of the public beach. Otherwise your best options are the Reef Grill & Bar or Calico Jacks on SMB or any place in George Town.

I would at least stop in and check out Senor Frogs in town. We were walking by and the outstanding music pulled us off the street and upstairs to the bar. You were able to stand or sit at a counter near the top of the steps and not order anything, just watch. My 20 year old daughter and her friend has a blast dancing and the whole crowd was having a very good friend. There is a not a dance floor but you dance in the aisles between the table. Also, Margaritaville has a water slide and pool outside of the bar. But, be forewarned...a Margarita is $11 US. We have a great video of 20 something's having a good time in the pool.

We were there during spring break, so it may have been a little more active in the bar scene as usual. We did the Moby Dick stingray and snorkel excursion and they dropped us off at 7 mile beach. We then took a cab into town for $2.50 per person (after a lot of negotiation and several cabbies walking away from us) The city bus is $2.00 per person to town.
