Mobile Parking at Pier vs. Shuttle service from hotel

Does anyone have a preference to which is better, or I guess faster getting you on the road?? We will be departing from Mobile port.

 

I am a first time cruiser and need some advise. We want to get off and on the road asap on the morning of debarkation.

 

Didnt know if there would be long lines when parking at the pier or if anyone will have to wait very long for shuttle to pick you up if you did a cruise and stay package at one of the local hotels in Mobile???

Your quickest departure will be to park at the port. The parking garage and terminal are the same building and of course if you can self debark (carry you luggage off) you can be one of the first off the ship.
