our cruise documents for the CP on 2/26 says boarding starts at 1PM but I know I've read here that passengers have lined up at 11am and boarded by 11:30Am

does Princess actually let you on before 1PM?

We're usually on board by noon but we do go to the port early to be in the front of the line

Yes, if the ship is ready and the former passengers have all disembarked. Each boarding time is different as it all depends on how quick they can ready the ship and unload that last bunch.

We usually arrive between 11:-11:30 and begin boarding shortly after we arrive. Not to say if they are held up for any reason that you might not have to wait a couple of hours in line though. You just never know from sailing to sailing.

sweetsly,

They tell you that because they want to avoid the early crowd.

We arrived at the port yesterday at 11 and after a short 15 minute wait, the lines moved rather quicky and we were on the ship, checked out our room, and in the Horizon Court eating lunch before noon.

Very, very smooth embarkation...Princess does it better than anyone!

Good luck!

At Port Everglades the only time we had a long wait was when we boarded on this past election day. Security was very, very tight. Even so, we were in our cabin by 12:45. We take Cruise Connection to the port and they always arrive early. We are usually on board by 11:15 to 11:30.
