why no bookings for pride for two weeks in early 2011

Does anyone know why there are no sailings on the pride from 1/23/2011 to 2/6/2011?

...still waiting for her July-August 2011 itin. What in the heck is the hold up? I thought it was due to adding more trips to Bermuda, but they already announced that and still no itin past April. And what's the hold up on announcing the home port for the Magic? Come on CCL, let's get this party started already.

One of three possibilities:

 

1) Getting a different ship

 

2) Port being dropped by Carnival

 

3) The Pride schedule is being delayed because of different itineries.

 

 

My guess would be #3

I am on the third. I think it is great. You will be sleeping on brand new beds and linens, I am sure! GO for the positive side. Things will be great! :)

2 is pretty much out of the picture because they have announced that the Pride will be doing Bermuda cruises later in 2011.

A short drydock like that is probably no more then inspections and a full sprucing up. Problems post drydock usually arise when they schedule too much to be done in too short a time and they are still doing it whilst at sea.
