Alaska cruise - Celebrity or Princess

Dear all,

 

I am treating my mother to Alaska for her 70th birthday this June. The choice of ships are Millenium/Infinity for Celebrity or Island/Coral/Diamond for Princess. Which line or ship would you recommend. I heard Celebrity has better food and service. Not sure if this is an accurate comment.

Although I usually cruise on Celebrity, I loved Diamond Princess and the food/service were great on that particular ship.
